This Cookie Policy explains how VisionBrain Inc., doing business as Daely (“Daely,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on the Daely website, applications, and services (the “Platform”). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies: 

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device to help it function and remember your preferences. We also use similar technologies that work in comparable ways, including:

• Local storage and SDKs — mechanisms in browsers and mobile apps that store settings or identifiers.

First-party cookies are set by Daely. Daely does not currently set any first-party cookies; all cookies used on the Platform are set by the third-party providers described in Section 3. Third-party cookies are set by other companies whose services we use, subject to their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not use email tracking pixels or similar technologies to monitor whether recipients open, view, or interact with our emails. In this Policy, "cookies" refers to cookies and these similar technologies together.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

   1. Strictly necessary. These cookies are essential, as they support fraud prevention and detection on our payment pages. They are set by our payment processor, Stripe, and are limited to payment pages on the Platform. For example, without these cookies, submitting a payment may not operate correctly. They are enabled by default because they are necessary for the Platform to function, and cannot be switched off in our systems. You can set your browser to block or alert you to these cookies, but if you do, payment submission may not work properly. 

   2. Functionality. These cookies remember your selected camera, microphone, and speaker during video-based features on the Platform, such as AI Interviews.

3. Cookies We Use

Daely uses a small, fixed set of cookies set by the third-party service providers that support features of the Platform, including the categories described in Section 2 above. These providers set their cookies directly, subject to their own privacy and cookie policies, which Daely does not control.

4. Your Choices and How to Manage Cookies

   1. No consent banner required. All cookies used on the Platform are either strictly necessary to process payments or are set only when you actively choose your microphone, camera, or speaker for a video-based feature. Because these cookies do not require consent under applicable law, the Platform does not display a cookie consent banner. You can still block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, as described in Section 4(b) below.

   2. Browser and device controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. If you block cookies, some features — such as payments, AI features, login details, etc. — may not work properly, and you may need to set your preferences on each browser and device you use.

5. Consent and Legal Basis

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, as they are essential to provide the Platform you request. The functionality cookies described in Section 3 are set only when you actively select a camera, microphone, or speaker for a video-based feature, and are placed at your request rather than requiring separate consent. Daely does not currently use cookies that require an opt-in consent mechanism or a cookie settings tool. In the United States, certain state laws may give you the right to opt out of cookie-based "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising; as described in our Privacy Policy, Daely does not engage in these practices. 

6. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for legal reasons. We will post the updated version and change the “Last updated” date, and provide additional notice where required.
